- So, when and where are you getting married?
- At the Ohio Renaissance Festival (10542 Ohio 73, Waynesville, Ohio 45068) on October 20th, 2024.
- Wait, so how does that work?!
- Our guests (that's you!) get free entry into the festival. You'll enter towards the right side of the festival entrance and say you're with the wedding. We'll walk together to the chapel for the ceremony, and then to a covered banquet area for dinner.
- What time should I get there?
- The festival is a busy place. Please plan for traffic and slow entry into the parking area. We'll start our parade to the chapel at 2:30pm sharp.
- What else do I need to know about the Renaissance festival?
- Cell service is nearly non-existant. The ground will either be gravel or grass, so plan your footwear accordingly. You're free to enjoy the festival at your leisure after the ceremony and dinner. The festival closes at 7pm. This is the festival website.
- So, if this is a Renaissance festival, do I have to dress up?
- We encourage all of our guests to dress up as much as they feel comfortable. The world is your oyster, costume-wise! Feel free to show up in any of these vibes: fantasy, Renaissance, Viking, pirate, medieval, witch, fairy, druid, Celtic, wench, etc.
- I have no ideas!!!
- Don't fret! I made this Pinterest board to get your creative juices flowing.
- Okay, maybe I have some ideas. Where should I shop for my outfit?
- If you want to purchase online, Etsy has lots of great options! We've had luck with these shops:
shop
shop
shop
If you would rather shop in person, you can always shop at the festival! The season starts on Labor Day weekend and continues every weekend until the last weekend of October. You might even have a Renaissance faire close to you!
